Old age pension—notification of increase of means.

27.—Section 16 of the Act of 1960 is hereby amended by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (3):

“(3A) Where a person has contravened subsection (1) of this section and the Minister is satisfied that there was, in relation to the contravention, no fraudulent intent on the part of the person and that there are no significant resources available to that person, subsections (2) and (3) of this section shall not apply in relation to the increase referred to in that subsection.”.
