Prisoner's wife's allowance (extension of payment period).
8.—Section 9 of the Act of 1974, which provides for prisoner's wife's allowance, is hereby amended by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (2):
“(2A) A prisoner's wife's allowance shall continue to be paid for a period of four weeks after the release of the prisoner from a prison or place of detention.”.
