EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (TERMINATION OF FEES ON EXPORTED BUTTER) REGULATIONS, 1977.

I, JAMES GIBBONS, Minister for Agriculture in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Articles 9 and 13 of the Treaty establishing the European Community, signed at Rome on the 25th day of March, 1957, and Article 36 of the Treaty relating to the accession of Ireland to the European Economic Community and to the European Atomic Energy Community, signed at Brussels on the 22nd day of January 1972, hereby make the following Regulations :

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Termination of Fees on Exported Butter) Regulations, 1977.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 30th day of August 1977.

2. Subsections (3) and (4) (which provide for the payment of certain fees to the Minister for Agriculture by manufacturers and exporters of butter on certain butter exported from their premises) of Section 6 of the Dairy Produce (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 10 of 1941), are hereby repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order terminates payment of fees on exports of non-creamery butter with effect from 30th August, 1977.
