CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (EXTENSION OF LAWS) REGULATIONs, 1976.

I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ) with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 1976.

2. (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this Article the Control of Exports Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1976 ), other than Part II of the Schedule thereto, shall extend to the Customs-free Airport.

(2) For the purposes of the extension of the Control of Exports Order, 1976, to the Customs-free Airport Part 1 of the Schedule to that Order is hereby amended by the deletion of "waste and scrap metal of iron and steel".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to extend to the Customs-free Airport at Shannon the Control of Exports Order, 1976, exclusive of specified parts thereof.
