FISHERIES (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1976.

The Government, at the request of the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1976.

(2) The Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 93 of 1973 ), and this Order may be cited together as the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Orders, 1973 and 1976.

2. The statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Michael Pat Murphy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.

SCHEDULE.

The powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries under each of the following Acts:

( a ) Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1974 (No. 25 of 1974),

( b ) Sea Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1974 (No. 30 of 1974),

( c ) Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1976 (No. 23 of 1976).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order delegates to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries under the Acts specified in the schedule to the Order.
