CENSORSHIP OF FILMS (COLLECTION OF FEES) ORDER, 1976.

I, RICHIE RYAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by section 11 (1) of the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Censorship of Films (Collection of Fees) Order, 1976.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The fees chargeable under section 11 (1) of the Censorship of Films Act, 1923 (No. 23 of 1923), may be paid in cash, by means of a banker's draft, a money order or a postal order or by means of a cheque drawn to the order of the Official Censor of Films.

4. The provisions of this Order are in addition to and are not in substitution for those of the Censorship of Films (Fees) Order, 1925 (S.R. and O. No. 38 of 1925), and that Order shall be construed and shall have effect subject to the provisions of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to allow payment of film censorship fees to be made in cash, or by means of a banker's draft, a money order or a postal order or by means of a cheque drawn to the order of the Official Censor of Films in addition to by means of adhesive Revenue stamps.
