MECHANICALLY PROPELLED VEHICLES (INTERNATIONAL CIRCULATION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1976.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 38 of the Local Government Act, 1955 (No. 9 of 1955) hereby orders as follows—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) (Amendment) Order, 1976.

(2) This Order and the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) Orders 1961 to 1966, may be cited together as the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) Orders 1961 to 1976.

2. Article 16 of the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 269 of 1961 ) as substituted by the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) (Amendment) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 59 of 1964 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£1.50" for "10/6" in paragraph (a).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amend the Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) Orders 1961 to 1966 so as to increase the fee for an international driving permit to £1.50.
