WHEREAS the County of Louth and Borough of Drogheda (Boundaries) Provisional Order, 1976, set out in the Schedule to this Act has been duly made by the Minister for Local Government under the Schedule to the Local Government (Application of Enactments) Order, 1898, and the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898, but will not have effect until confirmed by the Oireachtas:
