FLUORIDATION OF WATER SUPPLIES (SLIGO) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1975.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 2 and 4 of the Health (Fluoridation of Water Supplies) Act, 1960 (No. 46 of 1960) and having complied with subsection (4) of section 2 of that Act and having consulted with the Minister for Local Government hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Sligo) (Amendment) Regulations, 1975.

2. The Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Sligo) Regulations 1965 ( S.I. No. 72 of 1965 ) are hereby amended as follows:—

( a ) by the substitution of "5" for "4" in sub-article (2) of article 4,

( b ) by the addition to the First Schedule of the following paragraph:—

"5. The Lough Gill Regional piped water supply."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations add the Lough Gill Regional Water Supply to the list of public water supplies required by the regulations of 1965 to be fluoridated.
