MAINTENANCE ORDERS ACT, 1974 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1975.

I, PATRICK COONEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Maintenance Orders Act, 1974 (No. 16 of 1974), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maintenance Orders Act, 1974 (Commencement) Order, 1975.

2. The 1st day of April, 1975, is hereby appointed to be the day on which the Maintenance Orders Act, 1974 (No. 16 of 1974), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the Maintenance Orders Act, 1974 into operation on 1st April, 1975.
