WATERFORD SUBURBS TRAFFIC TEMPORARY RULES, 1974.

I, PATRICK MALONE, Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961), as amended by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968), with the consent of the Minister for Local Government, hereby make the following temporary rules in respect of the area specified in paragraph 3 of these rules.

1. These rules may be cited as the Waterford Suburbs Traffic Temporary Rules, 1974.

2. These rules shall come into operation on the 21st day of September, 1974.

3. These rules shall apply to the area comprising the county borough of Waterford and the townlands of Newrath, Ballyrobin, Rockshire and Mountsion in the county of Kilkenny.

4. A driver shall comply with any prohibition, restriction or requirement indicated by means of a traffic sign.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

1. These rules provide for the making of streets in the county borough of Waterford and the townlands of Newrath, Ballyrobin, Rockshire and Mountsion in the county of Kilkenny one-way thoroughfares.

2. Rule 4 provides that a driver shall comply with any prohibition, restriction or requirement indicated by means of a traffic sign.
