MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1973 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1973.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973 (No. 14 of 1973), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973 (Appointed Day) Order, 1973.

2. The 1st day of November, 1973, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973 (No. 14 of 1973).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 1st day of November, 1973, as the day on which the Department of the Public Service shall stand established.
