MAXIMUM PRICES (INTOXICATING LIQUOR) (No. 4) ORDER, 1973.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1973 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Intoxicating Liquor) (No. 4) Order, 1973.

2. This Order shall not apply to intoxicating liquor sold in premises registered under the Tourist Traffic Acts, 1939 to 1972.

3. The maximum price at which intoxicating liquor mentioned in column (2) of the First Schedule to this Order at any reference number may be sold in the area comprising the borough of Wexford in the County of Wexford in the manner specified in column (3) of that Schedule at any reference number is hereby fixed at the price mentioned in the said column (3) at that reference number.

4. The maximum price at which intoxicating liquor mentioned in column (2) of the Second Schedule to this Order at any reference number may be sold in the area comprising the urban district of Enniscorthy in the County of Wexford in the manner specified in column (3) of that Schedule at any reference number is hereby fixed at the price mentioned in the said column (3) at that reference number.

5. The maximum price at which intoxicating liquor mentioned in column (2) of the Third Schedule to this Order at any reference number may be sold in the area comprising the town of Droichead Nua in the County of Kildare in the manner specified in column (3) of that Schedule at any reference number is hereby fixed at the price mentioned in the said column (3) at that reference number.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the maximum prices at which intoxicating liquor may be sold in the towns of Wexford, Enniscorthy and Droichead Nua. The Order does not apply to intoxicating liquor sold in premises registered under the Tourist Traffic Acts 1939 to 1972.
