EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Increases of benefit or pension payable under the Social Welfare Acts, 1952 to 1972, or under the Social Welfare (Occupational Injuries) Act, 1966 , in respect of an adult or child dependent are an integral part of the benefit or pension and are payable to the person so entitled. These Regulations, however, provide that where it appears to the Minister the circumstances so warrant he may appoint a person to receive or deal with the amount of the increases on behalf of the claimant or beneficiary.
