MAXIMUM PRICES (MILK) (DONEGAL) (No. 4) ORDER, 1972.

I, PATRICK J. LALOR, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 208 of 1965 ), hereby order as follows:—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Milk) (Donegal) (No. 4) Order, 1972.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1972.

2. In this Order—

"bottled milk" means liquid milk in any closed receptacle containing more than a half-pint and not more than a quart but does not include separated milk, skim milk, buttermilk, condensed milk or cream.

3. The maximum prices at which bottled milk (other than milk described when bottled as highest grade milk) may be sold by retail in any place in the county of Donegal during the month of November, 1972, shall be prices calculated at the rate of 4½p per pint, and during each of the months December, 1972, January, 1973, February, 1973, March, 1973, and April, 1973, shall be prices calculated at the rate of 5p per pint.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes, for the six months commencing on 1st November, 1972, the maximum retail price for bottled milk (other than highest grade milk) in the county of Donegal as defined in the Order.
