HEALTH ACT, 1970 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1972.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 1 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Act, 1970 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1972.

2. In this Order " the Act " means the Health Act, 1970 .

3. Section 64 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1972.

4. Section 3 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1972, for the purpose of effecting the repeal of Section 23 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation section 64 of the Health Act, 1970 . It also brings section 3 of that Act into operation for the purpose of effecting the repeal of section 23 of the Health Act, 1953 .
