EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Provision was made in the Social Welfare (Overlapping Benefits) (Amendment) Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 225 of 1956 ) for the rounding up or down of fractions of a penny where such fractions arose from the application of the Overlapping Benefits Regulations. This Regulation applies the provision to the new decimal currency in similar situations.
