INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1972.

I, PATRICK J. LALOR, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order :

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Areas) Order, 1972.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of July, 1972.

3. The areas in the counties of Meath and Waterford for the time being determined to be Gaeltacht areas by order under section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956), are hereby declared to be designated areas.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to declare to be designated areas for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 , the areas in the counties of Meath and Waterford which are classified as Gaeltacht areas, for as long as they shall be so classified.
