CENTRAL BANK ACT, 1971 (SECTION 50) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1972.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 50 of the Central Bank Act, 1971 (No. 24 of 1971), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Central Bank Act, 1971 (Section 50) (Commencement) Order, 1972.

2. The 24th day of July, 1972, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 50 of the Central Bank Act, 1971 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 24 July 1972 as the date for the transfer of the land bond registers from the Bank of Ireland to the Central Bank.
