CENTRAL BANK ACT, 1971 (SECTION 49) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1971.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 49 of the Central Bank Act, 1971 , (No. 24 of 1971), hereby order as follows:

1. This order may be cited as the Central Bank Act, 1971 , (Section 49) (Commencement) Order, 1971.

2. The 1st day of January, 1972, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 49 of the Central Bank Act, 1971 (No. 24 of 1971), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order appoints 1 January, 1972, as the day on which the Exchequer Account in the Bank of Ireland shall be transferred to the Central Bank of Ireland.
