DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETING ACT, 1961 (BUTTER STOCKS LEVY) ORDER, 1971.

AN BORD BAINNE (hereinafter called "the Board", in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 38 (3) (c) of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This order may be cited as the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Butter Stocks Levy) Order, 1971.

2. The rate of butter stocks levy payable to the Board shall be £2·60 per cwt. on creamery butter (other than, in the case of a registered proprietor of a creamery, butter held by or on behalf of that proprietor and manufactured in that creamery) held on 1st December, 1971 by or on behalf of every registered proprietor of premises or by or on behalf of every butter trader.

3. The said rate of butter stocks levy shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1971.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order fixes £2·60 per cwt. as the rate of levy payable to An Bord Bainne on Creamery butter (other than, in the case of a registered proprietor of a creamery, butter held by or on behalf of that proprietor and manufactured in that creamery) held on 1st December, 1971, by or on behalf of every registered proprietor of premises or by or on behalf of every butter trader.
