CORK AIRPORT (PARKING FEES) BYE-LAWS, 1971.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 16 (3) of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1950 (No. 4 of 1950), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby make the following bye-laws:

1. These Bye-laws may be cited as the Cork Airport (Parking Fees) Bye-laws, 1971.

2. These Bye-laws shall come into operation on the 15th day of February, 1971.

3. The fees set out in the Schedule to these Bye-laws shall be charged for the parking of vehicles in Cork Airport.

4. The Cork Airport (Parking Fees) Bye-laws, 1964 ( S.I. No. 241 of 1964 ), are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

Type of Vehicle

Rate of Fee

Motor Cars

5p for a period not exceeding 2 hours.

7½p for a period exceeding 2 hours but not exceeding 4 hours.

10p for a period exceeding 4 hours but not exceeding 8 hours.

12½p for a period exceeding 8 hours but not exceeding 24 hours, and

12½p for each subsequent period of 24 hours.

Motor Cycles

2½p for a period not exceeding 2 hours.

4p for a period exceeding 2 hours but not exceeding 4 hours.

5p for a period exceeding 4 hours but not exceeding 8 hours.

6p for a period exceeding 8 hours but not exceeding 24 hours, and

6p for each subsequent period of 24 hours.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of these bye-laws is to prescribe the fees which may be charged for the parking of vehicles in Cork Airport with effect from 15th February, 1971.
