INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREAS), ORDER 1970.

I, PARTICK J. LALOR, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Areas) Order, 1970.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 11th day of December, 1970.

3. The area comprising the townland of Clonshanny in the barony of Ballycowan and the townlands of Clara, Raheen, Ballyboughlin, Kilbride, Aghamore, Kilcoursey, Kilnabinnia and Erry (Armstrong and Maryborough), in the barony of Kilcoursey, all of which said townlands are situated in the County of Offaly, is hereby declared to be a designated area for the period of one year commencing at the commencement of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to declare the area comprising the townlands listed a designated area for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 for a period of one year, commencing on 11th December, 1970.
