ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1968 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1969.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 4 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (Commencement) Order, 1969.

2. Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 , shall come into operation on the 24th day of July, 1969.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on 24th July, 1969, section 22 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 which provides for the issue of limited certificates of competency in certain cases.
