HARBOUR RATES (DUNDALK CRANAGE RATES) ORDER, 1969.

The Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby orders as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Cranage Rates) Order, 1969.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of April, 1969.

2. The rate of two shillings and sixpence is hereby fixed as the maximum rate to be charged by the Dundalk Harbour Commissioners in respect of each ton of goods carried by their cranes.

3. Paragraph 3 of the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 69 of 1962 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to authorise the Dundalk Harbour Commissioners to charge revised maximum cranage rates at the Port of Dundalk.
