DROGHEDA TRAFFIC (ONE-WAY STREETS) TEMPORARY RULES, 1969.

I, MICHAEL J. WYMES, Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89 (3) of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961), and with the consent of the Minister for Local Government, hereby make the following temporary rules in respect of the area comprising the borough of Drogheda:—

1. These rules may be cited as the Drogheda Traffic (One-Way Streets) Temporary Rules, 1969.

2. These rules shall come into operation on the 24th day of February, 1969.

3. Each street or portion of a street mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to these rules shall be a one-way street at all times.

4. Traffic using a street or portion of a street mentioned in column (2) of the said Schedule shall travel in the direction indicated in column (3) of that Schedule opposite the mention in the said column (2) of that street or portion of a street, and in no other direction.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Rule 4 provides that traffic using a street or portion of a street mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule shall travel in a direction indicated in column (3) of that Schedule, and in no other direction.
