Service etc. of notices. |
23.—(1) A notice under this Act or regulations made thereunder may be served on or given to a person— | |
(a) by delivering it to him, or | ||
(b) by sending it by registered post in an envelope addressed to him at the address at which he ordinarily resides or carries on business. | ||
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), a company registered under the Companies Act, 1963 , shall be deemed to carry on business at its registered offices and every other body corporate and every unincorporated body shall be deemed to carry on business at its principal office or place of business. |
