INFECTIOUS DISEASES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1967.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 31 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. Article 3 of the Infectious Diseases (Amendment) Regulations, 1948 ( S.I. No. 353 of 1948 ), is hereby revoked.

2. These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Amendment) Regulations, 1967.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these regulations is to withdraw the exemption from disinfection etc. given by Article 3 of the Infectious Diseases (Amendment) Regulations, 1948, in respect of articles of clothing, towels, handkerchiefs, bedclothing and mattresses which have been in use and rags which are imported by parcel post into the State.
