IMPORTATION OF WOOL (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1967.

I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 10 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Wool (Amendment) Order, 1967.

2. Article 4 of the Importation of Wool Order, 1946 (S.R. & O., No. 253 of 1946), as amended by the Importation of Wool Order, 1946 (Amendment) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 113 of 1954 ), shall be construed and have effect as if paragraph (b) thereof were omitted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order extends the provisions of the Importation of Wool Order, 1946, to include a prohibition on the importation from Great Britain of wool produced in an excepted country.
