HARES PROTECTION (COUNTY TIPPERARY (SOUTH RIDING)) ORDER, 1967.

I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), and the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 186 of 1958 ), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Hares Protection (County Tipperary (South Riding)) Order, 1967.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The killing or taking of hares in the County of Tipperary (South Riding) is hereby prohibited for the period of two years from the making of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to prohibit the killing or taking of hares in County Tipperary (South Riding) for a period of two years other than by coursing or by beagling under permit.
