S.I. No. 170 of 1967.

COUNTY MAYO (DISPENSARY DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1967

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 , (No. 26 of 1953) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the County Mayo (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1967.

2. The division of County Mayo into dispensary districts shall be varied as follows:—

(a) the dispensary districts of Killala, Ballycastle, Bangor, Knocknalower, and An Geata Mór shall be abolished;

(b) there shall be a dispensary district to be known as Mayo North Dispensary District comprising the areas hitherto forming the dispensary districts of Killala, Ballycastle, Bangor, Knocknalower and An Geata Mór.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of July, 1967.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to vary the division of County Mayo into dispensary districts by the amalgamation of the areas hitherto comprising the dispensary districts of Killala, Ballycastle, Bangor, Knocknalower and An Geata Mór into one dispensary district to be known as Mayo North Dispensary District.
