FLUORIDATION OF WATER SUPPLIES (DUBLIN) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1966.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 2 and 4 of the Health (Fluoridation of Water Supplies) Act, 1960 (No. 46 of 1960) and having complied with subsection (4) of section 2 of that Act and having consulted with the Minister for Local Government, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Dublin) (Amendment) Regulations, 1966.

2. The Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Dublin) Regulations, 1962 ( S.I. No. 75 of 1962 ) are hereby amended as follows:—

(a) by the substitution of " 6 " for " 5 " in sub-article (2) of article 4,

(b) by the addition to the First Schedule of the following paragraph:—

" 6. The North Dublin Regional Water Supply obtained from the river Liffey at Leixlip."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations require Dublin County Council, acting as agent for Dublin Health Authority, to fluoridate the new North Dublin Regional Water Supply, which obtains water from the river Liffey at Leixlip.
