GAELTACHT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1966.

The Government, at the request of the Minister for the Gaeltacht and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1966.

2. The statutory powers and duties of the Minister for the Gaeltacht specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Pádraig Faulkner, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Gaeltacht.

SCHEDULE.

The powers and duties of the Minister for the Gaeltacht under each of the following Acts :—

(a) Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts, 1929 to 1964.

(b) Alginate Industries (Ireland) Limited (Acquisition of Shares) Acts, 1949 and 1954.

(c) Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956).

(d) Gaeltacht Industries Acts, 1957 and 1965.
