DUBLIN HEALTH AUTHORITY AREA (REGISTRARS' DISTRICTS) (NUMBER 2) ORDER, 1965.

I, Pádraig o Cinnéide, an tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, and section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Dublin Health Authority Area (Registrars' Districts) (Number 2) Order, 1965.

2. The division of the Dublin Health Authority Area into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows:—

(a) The area described in Part I of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Finglas and Glasnevin No. 1 Registrar's District, the areas described in Part II of the said Schedule shall cease to form part of Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District and the areas described in Part III of the said schedule shall cease to form part of Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District and the said areas shall form part of Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District.

(b) The areas described in Part IV of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the area described in Part V of the said Schedule shall cease to form part of Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrars' District and the said areas shall form part of Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrars' District.

(c) The area described in Part VI of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and shall form part of Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District.

3. In the Schedule to this Order:—

(a) a reference to a road or railway shall be construed as a reference to the centre line of such road or railway;

(b) a reference to an existing boundary means that boundary as existing immediately before the coming into operation of this Order;

(c) a reference to the County Borough boundary means the existing boundary of the County Borough of Dublin.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of February, 1965.

SCHEDULE

PART I

Description of Area to be taken from Finglas and Glasnevin No. 1 Registrar's District and added to Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Finglas and Glasnevin No. 1 Registrar's District and the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District is intersected by the County Borough boundary in a westerly direction along the County Borough boundary to its intersection by Ballymun Road; thence in a southerly direction along Ballymun Road to its junction with Mobhi Road; thence in a southerly direction along Mobhi Road to its junction with Griffith Avenue; thence in an easterly direction along Griffith Avenue to its junction with the existing common boundary of the Finglas and Glasnevin No. 1 Registrar's District and the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in north-easterly, north-westerly, north-easterly, easterly and north-easterly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART II

Description of Areas to be taken from Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District and added to Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District.

(a) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrars' District meets the Howth Road at Fairview in a north-easterly direction along Howth Road to its junction with Collins Avenue East; thence in a northerly direction along Collins Avenue East to its intersection by the Dublin/ Belfast railway-line; thence in a north-easterly direction along this railway-line to its intersection by Brookwood Avenue; thence in a north-westerly direction along Brookwood Avenue to its junction with Harmonstown Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along Harmonstown Road to its junction with Harmonstown Avenue; thence in a north-westerly direction along Harmonstown Avenue to its junction with Harmonstown Drive; thence in an easterly direction along Harmonstown Drive to its junction with Gracefield Avenue; thence in a northerly direction along Gracefield Avenue to its intersection by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District; thence in north-westerly, south-westerly, southerly, north-westerly, northerly, westerly, south-westerly, south-easterly, south-westerly, southerly, south-westerly, north-westerly, south-westerly and easterly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.

(b) The area bounded on the south by Ascal Mac Amhlaoi and in the west, north and east by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District.

(c) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrars' District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District is intersected by Edenmore Road in a southerly direction along this common boundary to where it is intersected by the easterly projection of Ascal Mac Amhlaoi (or southern boundary-fence of field containing 7.518 acres Dublin sheet 15 XIII, Ordnance Survey Map 1938); thence in an easterly direction along this projection of Ascal Mac Amhlaoi to its junction with Edenmore Road; thence in a north-westerly direction along Edenmore Road to the starting point.

PART III

Description of Areas to be taken from Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District and added to Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District.

(a) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District is intersected by Tonlegee Road in an easterly direction along this road to its junction with The-Hole-in-the-Wall-Road; thence in a northerly direction along The-Hole-in-the-Wall Road to its intersection by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in westerly and southerly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.

(b) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where The-Hole-in-the-Wall Road is intersected by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District at Grangemore in north-westerly, northerly and north-easterly directions, successively, along this common boundary to where it is intersected again by The-Hole-in-the-Wall Road north of Grangemore; thence in a southerly direction along this road to the starting point.

PART IV

Description of Areas to be taken from Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and added to Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District.

(a) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District is intersected by Gracefield Avenue in a northerly direction along Gracefield Avenue to its junction with Ascal Mac Amhlaoi; thence in a north-easterly direction along Ascal Mac Amhlaoi to its intersection by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District; thence in south-easterly, westerly and north-westerly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.

(b) The area bounded on the north by Ascal Mac Amhlaoi and in the east, south and west by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District.

(c) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District is intersected by Edenmore Road in a north-westerly direction along Edenmore Road to its junction with Tonlegee Road; thence in an easterly direction along Tonlegee Road to its intersection by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in a southerly direction along this common boundary to its junction with the existing northern boundary of the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District; thence in westerly and south-westerly directions, successively, along the existing common boundary of the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District and the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District to the starting point.

PART V

Description of Area to be taken from Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District and added to Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the junction of the existing common boundary of the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 and Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrars' Districts with the existing northern boundary of the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District in a northerly direction along the common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrars' District to its intersection by Tonlegee Road; thence in an easterly direction along Tonlegee Road to its junction with Kilbarrack Road; thence in easterly and south-easterly directions, successively, along Kilbarrack Road and its south-easterly projection to the low water mark; thence in a south-westerly direction along this low water mark to its junction with the existing common boundary of the Clontarf and Howth No. 1 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in westerly, northerly, westerly, northerly and westerly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART VI

Description of Area to be taken from Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and added to Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where The-Hole-in-the-Wall Road is intersected by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District at Grangemore in a south-westerly direction along The-Hole-in-the-Wall Road to where it is intersected again by the existing common boundary of the Coolock and Drumcondra No. 2 Registrar's District and the Clontarf and Howth No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in easterly and northerly directions, successively, along this common boundary to the starting point.
