Amendment of section 20 of Land Act, 1939. |
40.— Section 20 of the Land Act, 1939 , is hereby amended— | |
(a) by the substitution in subsection (1) for “has obtained possession of a holding or taken up from an allottee a parcel of land” of “have put up for sale by public auction a holding which they are entitled to cause to be sold and the holding has not been sold or have taken up from an allottee a parcel of land”, and | ||
(b) by the substitution in subsection (1) for “with the consent of the Minister for Finance” of “within such limits as may from time to time be approved of by the Minister for Finance”. |
