PIGS AND BACON (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT OF SECTION 16) ORDER, 1963

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (Commencement of section 16) Order, 1963.

2. The 1st day of March, 1963, is hereby fixed as the day on which section 16 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into operation on 1st March, 1963, section 16 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 , which provides for the keeping, audit, etc., of the accounts of the Pigs and Bacon Commission.
