Rates of old age pensions.

2.—(1) Section 77 of the Act of 1952 is hereby amended by the substitution for the Table (inserted by the Act of 1962) to subsection (2) of the following Table:

(2) Section 8 of the Old Age Pension Act, 1924 , is hereby amended by the substitution in subsection (1) of “one hundred and forty three pounds” for “one hundred and thirty pounds” (inserted by the Act of 1962).

(3) Subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1963.
