PATENTS, DESIGNS AND TRADE MARKS (INTERNATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1962.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (5) of section 152 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927), as adapted by section 2 of the Executive Powers (Consequential Provisions) Act, 1937 (No. 20 of 1937), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) (Amendment) Order, 1962.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 22 of 1959 ), is hereby amended by the insertion of " Iceland " in the First Schedule after " Hungary " (inserted by the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) (Amendment) Order, 1960 ( S.I. No. 104 of 1960 )).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The amendment extends the effect of the principal Order to Iceland.
