IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (FLOCK) ORDER, 1962.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), and with the consent of the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (Flock) Order, 1962.

2. Whenever it is shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners that any article which is imported on or after the 10th day of April, 1962, and is chargeable with the duty of customs imposed by section 1 of and mentioned at reference number 20 of Part 1 of the First Schedule to the Finance (Customs Duties) (No. 4) Act, 1932 (No. 34 of 1932), is being or has been imported for use in the manufacture of combined cloth, the Revenue Commissioners may, subject to compliance with such conditions as they may think fit to impose, permit such article to be imported without payment of the duty or repay any such duty paid thereon at importation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the suspension of the Customs Duty on flock in so far as it relates to any material imported for use in the manufacture of combined cloth.
