Amendment of Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953. |
1.—(1) The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , shall have effect in relation to the local financial years ending on the 31st day of March, 1963, the 31st day of March, 1964, and the 31st day of March, 1965, and shall so have effect as if the making of supplementary allowances under section 6 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1946 , were not prohibited. | |
(2) Accordingly— | ||
(a) “eleven” is hereby substituted for “eight” where the latter word occurs in section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , as amended by section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1959 , in the reference to the local financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1954, and the eight following local financial years, | ||
(b) “in the local financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1954, or any of the eight following local financial years” is hereby inserted in paragraph (i) of section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , after “shall not be made”. |
