THE SHIPMENT OF LIVESTOCK (PORT OF DUBLIN) ORDER, 1959 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1961.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, and section 4 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 , hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Shipment of Livestock (Port of Dublin) Order, 1959 (Revocation) Order, 1961.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-fifth day of June, 1961.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The Shipment of Livestock (Port of Dublin) Order, 1959 (No. 221 of 1959), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order abolishes the requirement that persons presenting livestock for shipment through the Port of Dublin must be holders of a Shipping Agent's licence or an Owner Shipper's licence.
