PIGS AND BACON COMMISSION (NOMINATING BODY) (CURERS OF BACON) ORDER, 1961.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of subsection (3) (inserted by section 7 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961) ) of section 4 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 35 of 1939), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Body) (Curers of Bacon) Order, 1961.

2. The body specified in the Schedule to this Order, being a body that the Minister for Agriculture considers to be representative of the interests of curers of bacon, is hereby declared to be the nominating body for the purposes of subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of subsection (3) (inserted by section 7 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961) ) of section 4 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 35 of 1939).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
