DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETING ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1961.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Commencement) Order, 1961.

2. The 2nd day of March, 1961, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), other than sections 44 and 45 thereof, shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation as from 2nd March, 1961, the provisions of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 , with the exception of those mentioned in Article 2 of the Order.
