AUTHORISED COURSING MEETINGS (EXEMPTION FROM LEVY) REGULATIONS, 1960.

Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 5 (3) of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 , (No. 12 of 1958), hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:—

1. Every authorised coursing meeting held before the first day of September, 1963, shall be exempt as respects the levies provided for by the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), and accordingly, the Greyhound Race Track (Levy Collection) Regulations, 1958, ( S.I. No. 225 of 1958 ), made under the said Act, shall not have effect in or in relation to any authorised coursing meeting held before the first day of September, 1963.

2. These regulations may be cited as the Authorised Coursing Meetings (Exemption from Levy) Regulations, 1960.

3. These regulations shall come into operation on the first day of September, 1960.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Regulations is to exempt authorised coursing meetings held before 1st September, 1963, as respects the levies payable to Bord na gCon.
