ROAD VEHICLES (INDEX MARKS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960.

ROAD VEHICLES (INDEX MARKS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 12 of the Roads Act, 1920, hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) (Amendment) Regulations, 1960.

2. The Schedule to the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) Regulations, 1958 ( S.I. No. 14 of 1958 ) shall be amended by the insertion in the second column of the said Schedule of the following index marks :—

(a) ACI, BCI, CCI, DCI, ECI, FCI, GCI, HCI, ICI, and JCI opposite the Council of the County of Laoighis.

(b) AIR, BIR, CIR, DIR, EIR, FIR, GIR, HIR, IIR and JIR opposite the Council of the County of Offaly and

(c) ABI, BBI, CBI, DBI, EBI, FBI, GBI, HBI, IBI and JBI opposite the Council of the County of Monaghan.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations prescribe additional index marks for motor vehicles registered by Laoighis County Council, Offaly County Council and Monaghan County Council.
