LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (PART OF COUNTY OF WATERFORD) ORDER, 1959.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Part of County of Waterford) Order, 1959.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , shall come into operation in that part of the sanitary district of the County Health District of Waterford consisting of—

(a) the town of Tramore ;

(b) the townland of Monloum in the district electoral division of Tramore ;

(c) the townlands of West-Town, Garrarus and Caher in the district electoral division of Islandikane ;

(d) the townlands of Dunmore, Auskurra Big, Auskurra Little, Commons, Killea, Nymph-hall, Leckaun, Knockacurrin and Killawlan in the district electoral division of Killea ;

(e) the townlands of Coxtown East, Coxtown West and Portally in the district electoral division of Rathmoylan.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in (a) the town of Tramore ; (b) the townland of Monloum in the district electoral division of Tramore ; (c) the townlands of West-Town, Garrarus and Caher in the district electoral division of Islandikane ; (d) the townlands of Dunmore, Auskurra Big, Auskurra Little, Commons, Killea, Nymph-hall, Leckaun, Knockacurrin and Killawlan in the district electoral division of Killea ; (e) the townlands of Coxtown East, Coxtown West and Portally in the district electoral division of Rathmoylan. Section 34 of that Act authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land within that part of their sanitary district in which that section is in operation, or with the consent of such occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of such land for camping.
