Service and signing of notices.

67.—(1) A notice given pursuant to this Act or rules thereunder may be served on a person—

(a) by delivering it to him, or

(b) by sending it by registered post in an envelope addressed to him at the address at which he ordinarily resides or carries on business.

(2) A notice given pursuant to this Act or rules thereunder by An Chomhairle or an apprenticeship committee may be signed by an officer of An Chomhairle or the committee (as the case may be) authorised in that behalf.

(3) For the purposes of subsection (1) of this section, a company registered under the Companies Acts, 1908 to 1924, shall be deemed to carry on business at its registered office and every other body corporate and every unincorporated body shall be deemed to carry on business at its principal officse or place of business.
