12.—(1) For the purpose of assisting the Institute to carry out effectively its functions under this Act, there shall be paid to the Institute in every financial year, out of monies provided by the Oireachtas, a grant towards the expenses of the Institute the amount of which shall be determined by the Minister for Finance in consultation with the Minister and the Council after due consideration of any information furnished under subsection (2) of this section. | |
(2) The Council shall furnish to the Minister such information regarding its income and expenditure as he may from time to time require. | ||
(3) In this and the next following section “expenses” does not include expenses incurred by the Institute in relation to the grants or capital costs specified in subsection (2) of section 10 of this Act. |
