WICKLOW COUNTY (DISTRICT ELECTORAL DIVISIONS) ORDER, 1957.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (3) of section 81 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Wicklow County (District Electoral Divisions) Order, 1957.

2. The division of the County Wicklow into district electoral divisions shall be altered by the formation of a new district electoral division which shall be known as the district electoral division of Rathmichael (Bray) and which shall consist of the area added to the County of Wicklow by the Wicklow County (Extension of Boundary) Provisional Order, 1957, as confirmed by the Local Government Provisional Order Confirmation Act, 1957 .

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1957.

Explanatory Note.

The effect of this Order is to alter as from the 1st November, 1957. the division of County Wicklow into district electoral divisions by constituting as a new division the area added to Wicklow County by the Wicklow County (Extension of Boundary) Provisional Order, 1957.
