EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 145) ORDER, 1942 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 145) Order, 1942 (Revocation) Order, 1957.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1957.

3. The Emergency Powers (No. 145) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 57 of 1942), is hereby revoked.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government this 21st day of June, 1957.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke as from 1st July, 1957, the Emergency Powers (No. 145) Order, 1942, which is being replaced by similar provisions contained in Section 14 of the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 and Regulations made thereunder.
